Join Vote Yes For Charleston Libraries Campaign Manager Dan Krosse and SMPS Palmetto for an in-depth discussion detailing the plan designed to bring Charleston Libraries into the 21st century. On November 4^th, Charleston County residents will put to a vote the $108 million bond referendum proposed for the construction and renovation of multiple library branches throughout the county. It is the first referendum proposed since the passage of the 1986 referendum and is a direct result of a two-year study involving community input and research into library service and technology trends. During his discussion, Krosse will provide insight into the location and square footage of each project, as well as overall programmatic needs as they relate to Charleston’s A/E/C community.

About our Speaker: Dan Krosse is a card-carrying library fan with a background in media and media relations.  Much of his career was spent in newsrooms as both a reporter and newsroom manager.  In 2007 he started his own media relations company and today, his company, dpk media solutions, is focused on finding solutions for clients in this complicated, media-driven world.
