To my fellow SMPS Palmetto Members,
As we reflect on the successes of 2023-2024, I am thrilled to share that our organization has experienced remarkable growth. From engaging programs to expanding partnerships, we’ve seen a tremendous impact within our AEC community, and I couldn’t be more excited about the direction we’re headed.
In September, we kicked off this new year with a fantastic board retreat, where we came together as a team to map out the year ahead. A special thank you goes to Rachel John for her excellent leadership last year—her dedication and hard work laid the foundation for continued success.
Looking ahead, we have an incredible lineup of virtual and in-person programs designed to provide even more value to our members. These programs will feature talented experts in marketing and business development, offering strategies and advice to help you succeed. We are also creating more opportunities for members to connect and strengthen relationships with key industry partners, expanding our professional networks.
In addition to expanding our membership and strengthening partnerships with other industry organizations, we are also committed to becoming a more transparent board, providing greater accessibility to our members through regular reports, open meetings, and ongoing communication.
I am honored to lead SMPS Palmetto in 2024-2025, alongside our exceptional Board of Directors and Advisors. Together, we will continue to build on the momentum from the past year and create even greater opportunities for all our members.
